Dead Drops
“Dead drops” is one seriously cool project by Aram Bartholl. It’s an anonymous, offline, peer to peer file-sharing network in public space. Aram places USB flash drives into walls, accessable to anybody in public space. Just plug your laptop to a wall, house or pole to share your favorite files and data. Each dead drop contains a readme.txt file explaining the project. ...

Summertime
The sun is high and it’s getting hotter outside. Others would go swimming or sit on outside a bar, but this weather makes me want to buy a old Triumph bike or better yet a Falcon and hit the road. Fuck yeah…

Sten & Lex
Sten & Lex developed this technique to make Poster Stencil art. First they make the stencils and paste them on a panel of wood as a poster. Then they paint the whole board black, when it’s dry they remove the stencil but leave some parts on the board. In the end the stencil is destroyed and becomes part of the poster. The tritone, sometimes known as the “Diabolus in Musica” or “The Devils Interval”, is the same as an augmented fourth, which is the equivalent to a...

From here to ear
Céleste Boursier-Mougenot, a french artist, created this installation for The Curve. It’s a walk-though aviary for a flock of zebra finches, furnished with electric guitars and other musical instruments. As the birds go about their routine activities, perching on or feeding from the various pieces of equipment, they create a captivating, live soundscape. For fans of Earth, Neil...

Fascinating things going on here. The performance Future Prologues explores perceptions of reality and time through Totally Wreck’s complex web of self-created mythology, spirituality, and technology.
